LGS Notes: Sweet Kate spiderwort has a nice foliage color that pops in the shade. It is also deer resistant so really helps add interesting texture and color to your deer resistant shade gardens. It’s a pretty low maintenance plant that flourishes in the spring, gets a little ratty looking in the heat of the summer and then renews again in the fall when the temps cool.
