Raydon's Favorite Aster

LGS Notes: Raydon’s favorite aster is a fall blooming perennial that is great for birds and pollinators.  It is deer resistant and works well in the moist zone of rain gardens. We like to combine the asters with other late summer/fall blooming perennials like black eyed susan, cardinal flower, goldenrod, bee balm and false sunflower. As you see below, this plant tolerates a lot of tough conditions, making it a truly low maintenance plant.
